Last year we held our 2nd Annual Bull & Shrimp Roast at Oregon Ridge; it was a huge success and a lot of fun. We are excited to announce this year's Bull & Shrimp Roast will be held on November 10, 2012. The event will be at Oregon Ridge Lodge from 7pm - Midnight.
If you were fortunate enough to attend last year, please be sure to spread the word to family and friends. If you know of anyone that would like to sponsor or make a donation, please contact angelabovefound@verizon.net or use the contact form on this site.
Proceeds from this event will be used throughout the community, finding ways Angel Above can "Be It". These include, but are not limited to:
Angel Above will continue to strive to have an "ear" keyed in for those in need and where we can be of assistance. Melissa Daniels, Ava's mom, is an inspirational strong woman whose words urge you to help in whatever way you can. She envisioned "Be It" and has graciously allowed us to run with it and make it happen. - Planning "Special Days" for those in need (these include throwing a birthday party for a child dealing with an illness, bringing Santa Claus through a hospital ward with presents or planning a day out with the family who lose normalcy through a time of suffering)
- Offering hospital parking passes, an additional expense that can really add up
- Providing lodging for families to remain near the patient
- Funding research and hospital expansions
- And the list goes on...
